This face mask has a really nice smell to it, and although my skin did feel soft and clean after using it, I didn't really notice any dramatic changes to my skin. It's not a miracle worker and it doesn't really get rid of breakouts.

First things first - I LOVE Dermalogica. I have very sensitive skin and am prone to breakouts and it is one of my hero brands (along with Elemis). I use a variety of different masks to deal with breakouts depending on the type. If your skin is feeling greasy or you think you need a bit of a deep cleanse, clay based masks will be better suited to you than this one. However, if you wasn't a cooling mask - this is the best I have ever tried. What this mask does: If you are feeling a breakout coming on (tingling in your skin etc.) slap this mask on sharpish! Not only will it feel lovely and cooling on your skin, but it really does prevent a catastrophic breakout on your face! If your skin is sore with existing painful blemishes, this mask is fab for helping out with those too! What this mask doesn't do: This mask is not a miracle worker. It won't clear up your skin forever but if you use it once a week for maintenance or as needed for a boost, you will see a noticeable difference in your skin. Highly recommended!
