GHD IV Styler - Hair Straightener - Straightened

As someone with long thick hair and not a lot of time, I can honestly say that this product is a godsend! The GHD label can always be trusted- I only need one, maximum two strokes in order to straighten my curly, unruly hair. The heatup and cooldown times are really quick so you don't have to wait around for it. Also, due to the round barrell, this set of straightners can be used for straightening as well as curling. It does cost a bit more but the investment is so worth it and will last you ages.

I have had one of these for years now - a slightly older version than this one. It was well worth the investment! As someone with very unruly curly hair, having this around I know that if I feel like having perfect straight hair for a few days it is entirely possible to do so in my own home. My hair is very curly, and this is able to straighten it perfectly and it holds this until it's next wash. The combination of appropriate heat and the ceramic plates help achieve this. Brilliant buy and highly recommended for those wanting perfectly straight hair.

GHD stylers are the classic ceramic hair straighteners to dominate the current market, and they excel at the task in hand. Hair is straightened perfectly, and the rounded nature of the product means you can create beautiful waves and curls really easily. The straighteners get extremely hot but don't have a variable temperature, which is slightly disappointing, considering I have very fine hair which doesn't require the same heat treatment as normal hair, as it's very easy to style. The ceramic coating on the plates withstood knocks and bumps and is completely intact after a long time of daily usage. There is also an auto-off feature which is really useful as I always panic after leaving the house that I've left the straighteners on. The only problem I do have with these is that my hair doesn't look noticeably shiny after using them, as it has done with other brands of straightener. It doesn't give my hair a lustrous finish, and the plates do seem to drag ever so slightly over the hair in comparison to other brands I've tried, such as Corioliss. All in all, GHD straighteners are an excellent, reliable product which last well and are good quality.
