Clarins Beauty Flash Balm - 50ml

A true miracle cream. I have started to see the first signs of ageing around my eyes and the top of my cheeks which seems to look even dryer with foundation applied. I use this this on top of my moisturiser and underneath my foundation and it instantly makes the dryness and tightness disappear. I'm not sure I believe in products that offer a long term anti-age effect but this balm definitely gives me a younger and fresher appearance for the duration of it's wear. It's pleasingly obvious, lovely to use and well worth trying.

The Clarins Beauty Flash Balm is perfect to refresh yourself during the day or when you feel tired. After just a few minutes your skin looks amazing and very relaxed. I use it every now and then when I have the feeling that my skin needs a quick extra boost to look really gorgeous. It is one of my favorite Clarins products.

I came across this product in a magazine and when I tried it on at the airport after a ten hour flight, my colleague was flabbergasted at the result - and he is not a believer in beauty products! I knew there and then that this potion was magic and bought it straight away. It's the perfect pick-me-up after a long night, or a tough day: I apply it on my day cream and quickly apply foundation for an optimal result. Thanks to light reflecting particles, it does make me look less strained and tired, and it leaves my skin feeling very fresh and cool. It's a miracle product and I always have it at hand!

I think this product is quite average: it has a really lovely scent, which smells sort of like baby products, and it needs a particular kind of application, but the only healthy glow I got from this was an oily sheen and patchy foundation. This product requires careful application - you can't rub it in as it will 'ball' up and rub off your face. It needs to be smoothed over the face gently, and if being used as a primer, foundation needs to be applied straight after applying it. Even so, it definitely doesn't prolong my foundation's general appearance, and doesn't work for in that capacity. This product does come with a dual-purpose of a mask, and it makes my skin nicely soft and smooth. A lot of the time, I do just leave this to sink in as a night mask, and I wake up with lovely, soft skin. As a product, I'm disappointed in that I don't get the benefits others rave about, however it is a nice product to use - but it's nothing more than nice for me.
