i brought this as a present for hubby,and he loves it and more importantly uses this on a daily basis and he does not do male grooming,but because this is quick to use does not dry the skin out and helps hinder ingrowing hairs he loves it and i have repurchased this...

My husband was recommended to use this product when he attended a PURE salon for a men's facial. He uses it as part of a skincare regime incorporating other Elemis 'Time for Men' products and the results have been amazing. He uses the facial wash most days, but twice a week he alternates this with the Elemis Energising Skin Scrub. The Deep Cleanse facial wash he bought initially was in the smaller 50ml size, he has since decided he likes this product so has upgraded to the 200ml size which is a much cheaper by volume and you really need the larger size if you are using this every day. I have tried this product for myself for the purpose of this review. The cap is quite hard to twist off but it won't ever leak if you are travelling! The consistency of the product is a pale amber gel, it smells of musk and peppermint but is not overpowering. Appllying the gel to damp skin and rubing results in a white lather not unlike soap. The product washes off easily and leaves the skin feeling clean and moisturised. In my husband's opinion it is worth every penny and I have to agree that he smells wonderful after having used this!
