Natural Radiance Foundation

For an incredibly natural complexion, the hydrating foundation with the refreshing feel of water which smoothes, evens and enhances the complexion, and delivers a spectacular "bare skin" result.

At the heart of the formula are mineral and plant active ingredients chosen for their transparency and affinity with the skin. The result: an incredibly beautiful, radiant and even complexion with a translucent finish. It perfectly respects the skin, leaving it moisturized and incredibly comfortable.

How to use:

Flawless, quick and even application with the Foundation Brush, or with the fingertips for a more transparent result. Apply with light smoothing motions from the middle of the face to the sides, then delicately blend in towards the neck, hairline and ears.

Key ingredients:

Pink opal powder: gives unrivalled radiance. Pink algae extract: moisturizes, softens and stimulates cell renewal. Plant micro-patch: perfect, continuous hydration. Light Optimizing and Complex: optimizes complexion luminosity.

Clarins Skin Illusion Foundation SPF 10 - 30ml Reviews

That product is the first foundation I am actually using, so cannot compare to other brands. I tried a few samples of it because they arrived as gifts to other Clarins products I've ordered. At first it seemed a bit heavy, but now I think it was because I was just clumsy in applying it. Now I'm using it every day and am trully addicted. I'm applying a small amount over the daily moisturizer and I don't fix with powder - I just don't need to as my skin is rather dry. It blends well, I don't think I have the "cake face" effect. The only downside could be that it doesn't last for the whole day I am out for (12 hours), but that doesn't bother me, because it just sinks in, no running down my face.
I've been searching high and low for the perfect foundation. This is one of the best i've used, certainly the most expensive! I love dewy foundations but have quite a lot of spots and find that these kinds don't have enough coverage or staying power. This product lasts longer than almost anything i've tried, apart from dream matte mousse suprisingly which i still use over this on nights out (but i feel that this is a cheap chemically one and i worry for my skin particularly in regard to it irritating my mild acne). Skin illusion gives medium to full coverage. In good lighting i feel utterly transformed when i put this on. Going from spotty and uneven to ultra fresh, radiant and luminous. In some harsh lights it looks a bit crap, but i doubt there's a perfect foundation for all lighting. In good/natural light this foundation looks so beautiful. For me it is the most sought after combination of dewy and matte, it's very soft focus but not in any way greasy. One of the only small problems is that it highlights my little patches of dry skin sometimes, maybe mix it with a rich moisturiser if you have this problem. If you have oily skin i imagine this will be gold dust for you. I am really quite pale and someone recommended the lightest shade for me-ivory, i'm not sure if i should upgrade to the second shade next time, they are both very similar. Still if you are extremely pale ivory would be a very good choice. Another advantage is that there is no orange element to this foundation which makes it harder to get the dreaded tide marks. It's a shame that this is not a natural foundation, so i don't have complete peace of mind. But it does contain plant minerals supposedly and i'm relieved that it provides sun protection, UV and all that.
